Well, last week I came home and said, "hot damn, I got me a Windy!"
Though, not quite. It's actually "Kit" the Kite.
Last week we had a few windy days and someone must have been flying a kite that just did not want to be controlled. It landed itself in this tree and has been there since.

I should have taken a photo that day, but I kept forgetting as busy as I was.
I think Kit was a Spider-man Kite, but Kit has been torn a bit and it's hard to tell.
It has been a full week now and I am going to keep watch on Kit. I will keep you posted.

I think of Windy every time I walk up to the post office - there are 2 plastic bags stuck in bushes on my way ... have been there all spring.
Kit is far more colourful than windy or the twins though.
How funny. I still laugh when I think about her birthday cake for Windy.
yeah, I'm not sure I'd go so far as making a cake, however, any excuse for cake is good for me!
LoL! ummmm congrats(?) on getting one of your own! :D I'll keep an eye on updates!
Congratulations! I'm sure your Windy has found a great home. Just be sure to spay/neuter him/her to cut down on the stray Windys.
Hi I just stopped by to drop on your Entrecard and wanted to let you know that you have been added to Blog Angel's All Above the Crease Drop List . I created the list because I was sick of wasting time trying to find people's Ecards. You and everyone on the list has their Entrecards in an easy to find location. Stop by and check it out.
lmao, every time I see a bag blowing in the wind I think of Kathy and Windy. The birthday celebration rocks, and I'll be sad when Windy is eventually gone.
Glad you got your own, it's much easier to see and more colorful than Windy! LOL
Have Kit been reading The Junk Drawer too and decided that it wants to be like Windy too. :)
Do you like some information about Automotive, here check my blog : http://www.enyong.com/2009/05/20/emission-control-systems/
its really nice,i have gift a rosses to you....
Ack! I just saw this post today, so sorry for my delay in commenting. I'm THRILLED that you have your own Windy, well Kit. I love that you named her (yes, I knew she'd be a she!) and will keep an eye on her. It cracks me up that people think of our little Windy (and yea, she's very tiny now) when they see plastic in trees.
I'm glad you have such a big and colorful kite in a tree to document. You'll become attached to her in a way you probably never thought you could. Get used to it.
Long live Kit!
Heh, Windy has become infamous. I was lucky enough to get to meet Kathy of the Junk Drawer recently and had to make sure to bring her one of our local store chain grocery bags as a bit of a joke...
Windy, I figured, needed some out of town visitors. :)
Good luck with Kit!
I wonder if we can arrange a blind date between Windy and Kit. I bet they have a lot in common.
JD, if they had a blind date, that means Windy would have to leave Kathy or Kit would have to leave me and what if they never came back? Oh the horror!
