Looking For Free Things To Do?

I've been looking for some things to do with friends and their kids that are free or really cheap. I know some of the museums have free days, so I did a search and I found a site with links to a ton of Chicago area places and events.

You can click on each of the museums to find which days are free at which museums. Some have free days monthly, others only certain weeks out of the year.

If you are like me, you know the events and festivities that occur every summer, but forget when they happen until they are already happening.

This site has links to all the festivities so you can check it out before it happens.

While this post goes against my previous sarcastic post about being a travel ambassador, I think this is a great site!

With the economy so bad, anytime you can find something that's fun and free you've got a winner! Chicago is really a great city.
